Helloooooooooooooooo! Is anybody alive out there!

Despair

Ok, people, here it is--I've been blogging my little heart out, trying to bring you the very best resources I can find. But you're such a shy lot. I've checked my server stats; I know you've been here even when you've been very, very quiet. It sucks to blog in a vacuum--it would really help me out if you'd leave me the odd comment or two so I can know what you're really interested in reading about.

Just imagine me sobbing over my laptop, frustrated that the only comments I seem to get are from spammers. I'm not above begging. . .  have pity and please post a comment. Even if it's not a good one. I can take it. Well, not really, but I'll fake it anyway.

Thank you! Remember to post early and post often.

  1. Hellooooo! I’m here! Sometimes I think people are afraid that what they write will sound dumb. Did that sound dumb? :-) Hee, hee! Vicky

Welcome Vicky! I think you’re right about people being afraid to write. We moms need to support each other; no such thing as a dumb question or comment in this blog. I’m a bit of a goof-ball myself, so I’d enjoy a silly comment or two.

Hi! I know what it’s like to feel like you’re blogging all alone. Found your site through a comment you left at Type-A Mom. I’m a former college counselor and I think you have a fabulous idea here with this blog. Been thinking of something similar myself. Keep going, you’ll get your audience.

Mary, thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. They mean a world to me.

  5. Norma, you are not alone. I would like to invite you to join my new Return to College Forum for Moms and Working Adults Going Back to College

  6. nrickman says:

Thank you, Eduardo, I appreciate the invitation and I will visit your forum soon. The more resources we can provide for adults returning to college, the better. I think this group is a forgotten demographic.
