Cheap Thrills: National Parks to Offer Free Admission
I just read this morning that 144 national parks will be offering free admission over three weekends this summer. Some concessonaires within the parks will also be offering some added bonuses such as money-off coupons, boats rides, and other goodies. Regular camping fees will still apply though.
This might be a good opportunity to plan that camping trip with the kids. Fresh air+roasted marshmallows+campfires=great memories & happy families. A great little inexpensive mini-vacation for moms, dads and kids alike.
