What is the best college in HONG KONG?
What is the best College in Hong KOng that has the same rules like USA colleges? Like having to choose whatever subjects Students want to study and simply going there to apply for college rather having HKCEE passes and all. And what is the best Liberal ARTs program or enrollment college in HONG KONG?

Please help if there is any.

Why do people complain about “Liberal states”?
Considering my liberal state of MA has the best hospitals and colleges in the USA. Why is that?

If you notice at least one MA hospital is on the best ranking for hospital specialty care.
You will also notice Boston Childrens Hospital in every ranking of specialty care.
Almost every college, in MA is on the list.

To get into a good program in the USA you need to audition in both ballet and modern for a school that is any good. You are really starting late. The dancers you will be competing for spots with at the top schools will have been dancing since they were quite young. Many of them ballet academy trained taking at 15-30 hours of technique classes a week and 30+ hours during the summer months at top Summer intensives. Are you doing real modern dance like Graham, Horton or Limon techniques or are you doing what they call modern dance at small studios and in competition dance? That makes a big difference too. Most top dance programs that would be modern would be concert contemporary dance. That would be both ballet and modern classes and contemporary workshops with choreographers. To give you an idea of both the level and style of dance taught I will give you a few links.

@Janine. Good list. But the key here is that she says she hasn’t had any training and has danced on her own. She just started taking class now at 15. She wants to go to a “really good college”. We both know that many require more years of training to be able to audition than she will have before she graduates from high school in 2 years. You know as well as I do what is required for a career as a dancer and what it takes to get into a good school. She wants to be a dancer as in professional dancer. We both know the hire rate from non audition schools is next to zero.

As a Massachusetts native, I agree with you. And the person who thinks that all the colleges there are liberal arts schools has never heard of M.I.T.?

  9. cmui1978 says:

I am pretty sure HKU is the best… I think HKCU is the 2nd.

You don’t need HKCEE or HKAD if you are accepted as foreign student, just as foreign student is not necessary to have SAT score for foreign student. But having some standard test score could increase your chances being accepted.
